As a young girl, growing up in Richardson, Texas, Louise Sweeden first showed an interest in hospitality when she
borrowed her first cookbook from the public library. Over time, Louise became locally famous as one of
the best cooks of "real food" around.
In 1976 she started decorating cakes and teaching others as well. Then, in 1978, it all came together when she catered
her first wedding. Since then, as the founder of Weddings and Celebrations, she has catered hundreds of weddings, civic
functions, luncheons and other special events in the North Texas area.
